The Latest...

A flimsy done (actually a UFO) for the H2H challenge:

 
 
 And below is the cheater quilt I made for the Project Linus Open House. The front looks like quilt squares, but is solid fabric, and the backing is a wild kitty print. I used my new walking foot and quilted it with wavy lines within an hour!!!!! (I love that thing.) The binding is all set to put on in time to do the hand work while watching TV tonight. (It's that roll of turquoise on the right.)

    I love to quilt with my walking foot. Wavy lines are my favorite way to go.I also like to quilt grids.

  8. I have never used my walking foot to do wavy lines. What a fun idea. I will need to try it. I love your H2H quilt. So cute!! I am UFO's for my quilt for H2H also.

  11. Hi terri--Thanks for your comment on "Machine Woes--Google reader seems to have deleted it!! At any rate--I did sew hexies by hand today and enjoyed it a lot--I love your block-ey quilt--so bright and cheery--did you do it by hand?? (ROTFLOL) Hugs Julierose
