Clouded Yellow Butterfly

that's the name on the pattern, which I didn't find in the butterfly field guide, but I did find a Common Sulfur that looks just like the pattern. I used an orange print on the outside edge, but it probably should have been yellow. I like it though. Remember from last post that these are patterns from Claudia's Quilts. I bought 12 patterns for $8.50 USD.  (Just in case you want to make some, too.) Next I'm making the Common Blue - it looks easy!

I'm going to link it up to a couple of places.   Can I get a Whoop Whoop, and It's a Party!

Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Terri

  5. Hello Terri,

These butterflies are gorgeous! Seeing as Claudia is in Germany she will be doing European butterflies. Here is the clouded yellow http://www.ukbutterflies.co.uk/species.php?species=croceus - you might know it by a different name. I wish we saw them here more often, but they don't get here every year.

    Love from England,
