Found while packing.... a series

Okay... I've worked up to the sewing room... left that for last. (Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of things to pack yet, but the sewing room had to be packed in order for the house to be shown... no way to get into the room without doing the work. Ugh!)

So while I'm in there, I find this sweet little chicken purchased years ago at a local quilt show. I love to shop the part of the show where guild members make things to sell. This lady (I presume) sure knew her stuff. 30s reproductions sewn into log cabin blocks - just two of them, I think; felt for comb and beak, the tail is just quilting fabric, folded - body is stuffed with the little plastic pellets and the eye is embroidered - French Knots, I think.  Isn't she a beauty?

NOW I notice my sign on the printer. It reminds me that this printer prints on the bottom of the sheet of paper. That helps me a lot when I'm making cards... which I can't do now until I open up all the boxes at the next house. All my card stock, stamps, inks and etc. are packed away. Sniff

Here's another sign...

We got a call today from an agent wanting to show the house tomorrow evening!!!! Wish us luck!

Hugs,
Terri
