Blue Blocks and Rearrangement of Kisses

I wanted to get in on the Rainbow Challenge this year. I made these blocks to enter. (I hope the linky is still open.) I like the blue sooo much that I might just make a whole quilt of the blue with yellow or white stars.  I've got lots more blues that I didn't include here.

Here are the rearranged blocks for the grandgirl quilt. I subbed out a few really bright ones. I wanted this quilt to be lots more subtle than it is, but I have to have variety when I sew, so...

So look for me at the Rainbow Challenge 2014 - link in the side panel.
Hugs,
Terri

  1. A whole quilt in blue would be beautiful. Most of us have so much blue! It sees to go on forever.

  6. I love your blue blocks! I have been working on a blue and white sampler quilt for a long time. This year it WILL be finished! I'm thinking I want to do the RSC also. I'm just letting the little voices in my head argue back and forth whether I should join!

  13. HI Terri! I'm returning the visit from Val's QUilting Studio. It's nice to meet ya! I added myself as a GFC follower! YAH!!! ALways good to gather new friends. I do think you are right...that by the time I'm done with my RSC quilt year I will have to keep it! Since the jeans...I've started gathering t-shirts and other clothing items of every color of the rainbow...it will def. be a family keepsake quilt. THanks for the support!
