Flowers from here

We are still having spring flowers....
First the ones blooming at my house.

My rhubarb blossoming.

And below are wild flowers photographed in our Municipal Forest.

Anybody know what these purple ones are? The leaf is pointed.

The newest plant here. The angel wing begonia we bought yesterday for the back porch. It'll serve to make some new ones for Halloween, too. They are really easy to start.

Hope these remind you of the ones you saw months ago. We are just now having nice weather. 80 degrees today! (Shouldn't have mentioned that. It's expected to rain again tonight.)

So enjoy your weather, and hope your weekend is lovely. Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there.

Hugs,
Terri

  3. Lovely flowers. I think the purple ones look a bit like Spiderwort. My father, the expert gardener, always told us to break off the flower stalks on the rhubarb because they took energy away from the plant and you couldn't harvest as much for pies or baking.
