What plant is this?

This one grows on the south side of my house... I really don't know what it is, but the leaves  look really familiar.  I think it's some kind of  Hydrangea, but the flowers are all wrong.  They look  like downward facing bell flowers.

Do they ring a bell with you?

So it's Friday!

Have a great weekend.

Hugs,
Terri

  1. I think it's Chelone, commonly known as turtlehead. A late-season bloomer in the upper midwest. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelone_obliqua
