I'm trying to organize my stash right now. I can only do bits and pieces until after Christmas, when I can finally pack up the rest of my son's stuff out of his room and closet, I'm wrapping my larger fabrics (most of it) around comic book boards and lining it up neatly on bookshelves. I'm starting to see fabrics that I don't even remember. Nice to see what I have. Have fun unpacking. Unpacking is a pain...there's always more stuff than you left with, it seems. But it will get done, you will get "settled" and back to fun in good time. Looking forward to seeing whether your new surroundings influence your work. :)marylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16422697002292248350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2810577866125412069.post-49739415912737668112014-11-24T04:50:15.954-08:002014-11-24T04:50:15.954-08:00Welcome to your new home Terri. I'm still getting rid of things which I should've sorted out long ago. It is a nice feeling though to de-clutter. I hope you have fun while you are sorting out your crafts rather than it being a chore alongside all the other moving in opening box chores. I'm surprised that your quilt stuff wasn't unpacked first. You can always buy meals out, even buy a toothbrush and toothpaste, a bar of soap and be good for a couple of days. Quilting is always the priority! Good luck with you boxes! Remember to keep putting lotion on your hands; I hate the way cardboard dries them out!Quilting Nonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16964800066332039021noreply@blogger.com
