As for price of ovens, yes, my oven has been trying to go out for a few years now, and, it's a built in with an attached microwave oven. When it finally dies, I want to replace it with a double oven. I've been pricing them for a few years now. OUCH! I'm just hoping that I can keep this oven working for several more years, since I don't have the money for it, and won't any time soon. The D4P blocks are looking great. I use paper towels to keep my blocks in the correct order, too. Because - honestly Terri - nobody would blame you after that incident with the oven. Too right- the cleaning company should make good on that - it was completely their fault. Failing that - would your house insurance cover it?

Loving the progress on the wedding quilt- it's lovely!

Shayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11032969125788408807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2810577866125412069.post-62569539618257087032014-05-31T14:20:29.642-07:002014-05-31T14:20:29.642-07:00I don't even know what to say that Ann and Jul...I don't even know what to say that Ann and Julierose haven't....but how terrible...and frustrating...quilting is truly a stress relief right now. I think the cleaners should have to pay--but then I once got a tee shirt from my Dad when I was young that said "It isn't F A I R!!". I feel really bad for you two; we are not "youngsters" either and I totally empathize with the aches and daily pains--DH and I seem to go through a daily litany of "How's your back? How's your toe etc etc" Boy you didn't need this anxiety...
Hoping all goes well with finding (maybe a gently used stove??) and your Open House...
In the meantime, I love how your quilt is coming along--it will be gorgeous, but then, I really love all of your quilts...hugs and best Julierose
'Julierosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04079686021190332890noreply@blogger.com
