If you like the purple and want to keep it, you could add a few more dark blocks to add interest or use it on the back. In any case, good progress. It will be a special quilt.soscrappyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11110987671486577770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2810577866125412069.post-60549768627656811922014-05-19T18:15:41.845-07:002014-05-19T18:15:41.845-07:00I piece blocks that stand out into a row as part o...I piece blocks that stand out into a row as part of the backing. <br />I'm always doing mistaken cuts. It's all a question of visual balance. I think you could pull the dark block off if you do a few more. I think they look nice together, at least in the picture.Cheryl's Teapots2Quiltinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01005480747596617459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2810577866125412069.post-88574924388911864792014-05-19T13:01:19.821-07:002014-05-19T13:01:19.821-07:00I think if you think it doesn't look right, an...I think if you think it doesn't look right, and you have the time and the fabric, take it out. . . you will forever look at the finish quilt and think "I really wish I would have..."
