Sewers Block

You know about writer's block... well, I've got sewer's block. I have started 2 quilts for 2 granddaughters who will be getting married sometime (soon?), but I just don't feel like working on them. (It's one of many character flaws. I realized what it was while working on my taxes in 1997... When stressed I like to procrastinate and eat. Anybody else relate to that?) Anyway, my horoscope said I should try something new today.... I've been seeing quite a few of the bloggers  I follow, sewing  scraps at random. (Scandalous!)  This afternoon I ran across a grocery sack of snippets and decided to try it. I've never done anything like this before. ( Earlier I had been bragging about painting with my grandgirls when they were little and how they taught me free expression... they were so good at it. Remember that, Ashleigh?)

I just tipped over the sack and started taking interesting pieces out and sewing them together - chain stitching.

Here is the first pile, ironed. I'm going to slice them up and add more colors. Enjoying the process.

Happy Thursday.

Hugs,
Terri
