So far -

Here's the blocks I've got for the baby quilt, so far.

Here I've got some of the butterflies turned... don't like it as well as...

This way is more pleasing to me.  Blocks will go together tomorrow, then I'm thinking about a ruffle around the edge... What do you think?

    I love this color combination! It's one of my favorites. I like the second view best too. Ruffles would be so cute!

    I'm with you on keeping the butterflies facing the same way. You could do scallops with this design too. I'd be interested to see how ruffles turn out. :-) Not done a ruffled quilt myself only in dressmaking. Is there a difference in technique?

    I agree with you - keeping all the butterflies facing the same way is better. A ruffled edge would be very pretty.

    I like the second option too . I think it looks wonderful! A ruffle would finish it off perfectly!
