backing for the grey white and black quilts
and a close-up below
a little more red for the stash
(I will sew with some red one of these days - as soon as I can part with some of it,)
Below is the auxiliary pink I bought for the next grandbaby quilt - they tell me it's a grandgirl!!!!!!
I also bought 2 pieces of grey for the b,w &g quilt, but it isn't washed or ironed yet.
No sewing, but I did make a bunch of new little plants for Halloween,.
Spearmint
Lavender
Rosemary
See my little Elm tree? Out of 11 planted this is the only one to survive 3 years. I'm keeping this one.
So we come to the bottom of this post.
Have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Terri
I love your fabrics! Especially the yummy piece you chose for the b/w/g guilt's backing. So modern and colorful.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. Wow. A baby girl : )
Pretty plants. You have a green thumb.
Did you take cuttings from your lavender plants--I have a couple and would like them inside for the Winter...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteLove that red and those pinks...great stash additions! You've really impressed me with the fact you wash and iron before you put things away Terri. I never do that !
ReplyDeleteWhat a great, fun stripe fabric! I totally understand about the reds. I have quite the collection, but, since it's my favorite color, I usually just stroke it, then cut up something else. I did sew some red yesterday.
ReplyDeleteyou have a green thumb. I have tried to grow lavender but have the hardest time getting it started.
ReplyDeletePlanting ready for moving I guess.
ReplyDeletePlants are for Halloween... we allow each of the kids a choice of plant to take with them... and a candy, too. We aren't crazy.
