Found While Packing

A crepe paper rose that was hanging in my craft studio (rubber stamp room, way back room). I remember buying it (about 15 years ago) cause I wanted to make some to give as gifts.... Never did.

If you want to make one, I don't have a tutorial, but I can tell you what the probable way it goes together.
The center is net around some potpourri, the rose is crepe paper, but it could be fabric. There is a skinny ribbon folded in half and glued under that, and some store bought leaves, and then the lace (here Battenburg) or a doily would be pretty, too. If you wanted a pin, you'd need a firm disk glued on the other side of the doily, and then the pin back attached with glue.

Back to the packing - I'm almost done with that room! Next the sewing room!!!!!!!!!!!! Wonder what I'll find in there. Lol

Hugs,
Terri
