I need 9 X 9 to get a crib sort of size.... 81 blocks. Doesn't sound like much, but when it takes more than 10 minutes each - that's at top speed, which I just can't keep up - Well, I figured I'd better get to the grind stone...... and yet a nap sounds so lovely. We're still under the weather here. So not much sewing getting done.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We got a call from our son in Alaska, and got to talk to the whole family! That was really special to us. Thank you.
Now on to New Year's! Anybody making a Resolution List yet? (I need new resolutions... seems the ones I usually go for are just not meant to happen. LOL) What's your most unusual resolution?
Hugs,
Terri
I dont do resolutions but I have goals for the year. Some of my weirdest goals include buying 52 x $1.00 items and to make sure I practice random acts of kindness at least 4 times in the year.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Terri.
That is a wonderful idea... what kinds of things do you buy?

The quilt for Elaina is beautiful! The colors are just lovely and it seems to be coming right along, even with you both down for the count the last few weeks! She will love it!
ReplyDeleteThese are looking very sweet! Hope you're on the mend soon!
ReplyDeleteNo resolutions here, except to go back to smaller portions and walking every day. Wish that was as easy as wanting to sit and quilt. Love the baby quilt, great idea. My children live far away from us too, so thankful for skype. Not the same as being there, but it sure does help to see their faces and visit.
ReplyDeletethat is a lovely quilt. i made resolutions last year to blog all the time, then ended up having surgery my right wrist. i am just now getting back into sewing. so don't know if i should jinks myself with another resolution, but i would like to sew more.

I have been thinking about resolutions.... thats as far I have tho lol - Love your X's quilt!!
ReplyDeleteIt's strange that we both have a son in Alaska at the same time. My youngest got there safe and sound on Sunday. He now has a dresser and a tv, and a desk will be coming soon. He's still looking for a bed, chair and lamp. Not bad for almost 2 days time. Your blocks are coming along nicely. Don't rush it. Take that nap.
