Maybe you can tell that we are finally getting some rain - Thanks Melanie! I was bemoaning our dry winter - quite dangerous here because no rain in the winter, no water for the rest of the year. The reservoirs were quite depleted already. We don't get rain the rest of the year.... Anywho, it is raining now, and just after I asked Melanie from the UK to send us all their extra. She said she would, and so she did!
Here's the Christmas Cactus going crazy. (Here's how to get them to produce... put them out into the garage for a couple of weeks trying to sell them at rummage sales, and they will get the idea.) This one has never been so prolific.
and a close up.
To see a quilt like I'm planning next go to Seaside Stitches. I'm making my blocks 10 inches, so it should be a good size for H2H starting soon. (You know I love red... I just can't resist.)
Have a lovely weekend! (I'm off to the eye doctor.)
Hugs,
Terri
Congratulations! What wonderful news! I look forward to seeing pictures of the baby girl soon.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you got some rain. I've seen pictures of dry California on the evening news. Our weather is weird these days.
Funny story about your cactus plant. Beautiful blooms today : )
Congratulations on the new grandbaby! Thats wonderful news.
ReplyDeleteWe need rain here too - but I think thats still a couple of months off yet.
Oh you lucky thing! A baby, baby, baby!!!! Can't wait to see loads and loads of pictures. Us other grannies like to see pix of other people's grandkids, even if only to say: "My grandbaby is prettier, smarter, nicer, ______ (fill in the blank) than that one! It's not good enough we have our own lovely and adorable grandbabies...no, we have to see other's! I'll send you pictures of my grandbabies, or pictures of myself as a baby if you need some to compare yours too!!! Happy Day for You!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your method of getting plants to grow well. I was trying for neglect and lack of watering. It didn't work well, so I'm trying your method, seeing that you had such great improvement with it!
Ha! Feb 3 is my birthday, too! Great day! Not that many of us born on that date. Congrats! Wish we cold send you some of this snow before it melts. We'll have flooding as soon as it starts to melt. If only all this moisture was spread out more evenly.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations.
