Go to see Janeen's blog - do yourself a favor. Especially if you paper piece. She is showing a bee eater bird that is amazing! Of course, she has other patterns that are amazing... you can see those, too.
Thanks for the link Terri. I had a look- the kingfisher is beautiful. I've never seen a humming bird but if it is as accurate as the kingfisher, then it must be very good.
I like the hummer. We have them buzzing around - if you have flowers, you have hummingbirds here in CA. We also have a feeder just outside the breakfast table window so we get some good views. I'd say she's as accurate as you can be making a paper pieced pattern. I think she's the one I bought the butterflies from... but then the meds have taken me, and my memory isn't that reliable for this interim. Hope this reply thing works so you will see it. Hugs
Okay, It's been bugging me as to whom I purchased the butterfly patterns. It was Claudia Hasenbach (not sure of the spelling) but here is her web addy if you are interested in buying the patterns... 12 for $8 USD. http://www.claudias-quilts.com/shop/index.html Hugs,

Wonderful little bird! Janeen does beautiful work. I'm in awe--I've never tried pp with such tiny pieces!
