Here are the newest blocks...
Of course, I can't find the ones I did earlier, so no Love Ring layout.
I did get an early Christmas present from Melanie (the Houseelf - see the side bar). There were chocolates, too, but those have met their demise.
Love the embroidered sheep! Thanks Melanie. I hung it in the dining room and it adds some Christmassy feeling to our new house.
This is a bit of tiny snowy hail we got for a few minutes one day. Not much rain yet.
This is the view from my living room window...
Since we left CA they are getting some real rain today, and flooding.
Hope you all are warm and dry.
Hugs,
Terri
Hey Girl! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. California is finally getting some rain, maybe too much. Looks like you are getting some winter weather where you are living now. Stay warm, dear.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is going to be wonderfully vibrant!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute gift.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are settling in Terri--love that little embroidered piece--adorable! Your blocks are coming so nicely. I am in a funky state and cannot get unstuck on all my projects--got acase of blahs I think. Just a stressful time of year--waaaay too much. Am stepping back a bit and trying to relax....a little chocolate ALWAYS helps...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteHi Terri, I am so honoured that you are using my little gift to help make the new house your home. :-) The blocks are somewhere... I was having that over a Christmas quilt this week. Well today I found it- it hadn't been bagged up properly so wasn't where I expected it to be. I am sure your blocks will turn up. It is going to be a fantastic quilt!
ReplyDeleteHere I have finished the aran and the assignment so am mucking out the house. LOL Lovely Husband is back tonight.
Love Ring will show up as you unpack and settle in? I do like your new DP - bold colors. Pretty wall hanging, what a nice gift!
ReplyDeleteLove your curved blocks....
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you are getting quilting in. I hope you find your missing blocks. I have some that I'm just waiting to "show up". When I try that method, sometimes it takes six months before they wander back home!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're settled into the new house. I'm amazed you are still finding time to hand piece those pretty DP blocks!
ReplyDeleteYour new blocks are great!!
ReplyDeleteYour new blocks are so colorful.
ReplyDeleteThe blocks look great! I love the sheep embroidery project, whoever made it did a great job! I love it.
ReplyDeleteNice drunkard's path blocks! I admire people who can sew curves.
ReplyDeleteI like the blocks you are working on, you have to find the ones you made before!

Hanging in there?
ReplyDeleteGreat start to your blocks. The little embroidered piece is cute with all the snowmen surrounding the embroidery! Looks cold, we are having lovely warm fall weather but I am sure that will change soon enough.
ReplyDeleteLove that stitchery gift... what a thoughtful friend!
