Okay, I didn't do as much sewing this week. Too much game playing, I guess. Bad habits are hard to break. I did make another goose strip and a goosey smile...
Right now a strip under the needle... see the "pile" to the left? That's the next geese waiting in the wings...LOL
And here's the smile. I used a lovely light batik for the background. The pattern for the strip and smile come from Quiltmaker (online free pattern) Vintage Sunburst - paper pieced, of course.
So I'm off to share on the
Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Go over to see all the purplely goodness.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Terri
Goosey strip and smile are lovely, really pretty purples, I haven't attempted paper piecing yet, not sure that I ever will. Better get to those geese 'waiting in the wings' before they fly away - I get distracted by games too.
ReplyDeletePretty purples. The smile makes me smile too.
ReplyDeleteThat Goosey Smile... sigh... can't WAIT to see what happens with that!!
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be a pretty quilt when you finish it. I'm playing games on the computer, since I really don't want to go up to my sewing room, and get stuff done. I did get some hand stitching done, at Ladies Crafting at church this morning.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful blocks.
ReplyDeleteOh the smile - that's the best!!!
ReplyDeleteSmiling geese - love it.
ReplyDeleteGreat geese!
ReplyDeleteLove the happy geese...so cute...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteLovely work.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you do with these!
