Don't know that this picture of the geese in process is appropriate for Valentine's Day... but here goes.
I figured out this photo page from the 70s is just what I need to keep all the little pieces in order and on the sewing machine until I finish a strip. (Before I started using it, all the pieces went in different directions. Makes life so much easier with this bit of ancient technology. Another genius idea... LOL)
The first piece (darkest) is already pinned to the paper strip on the right.
So we are going out to Chinese tonight. He's been wanting Chinese for a while now, and I really don't care for it past the egg rolls. It's his Valentine gift. (I got a card saying he thinks I'm amazing. We're married 48+ years - I guess I am amazing, and so is he... just don't tell him I said that.)
Hugs,
Terri
Love that blue Bee fabric--try the crab rangoon bites--they are heavenly...I sort of like Chinese-- and my hubster loves it. I pick and choose from the appetizers menu a lot of times...funny that, today we are going for Chinese take-out for lunch...hello crab rangoon ;))))....hugs Julierose
ReplyDeleteI love Chinese! I made salmon for supper. We don't really 'do' Valentines day. Hubby isn't for all the extra holidays that all the card and flower companies promote. He did get me a card (I told him I wasn't getting him one). We'll be celebrating 30 years in September.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics! I have kept my garment sewing patterns in those plastic pockets since my kids were little, with a scrap of fabric to remind me what the pattern was for.
ReplyDeleteValentine's day up here is not so much for romantic relations but to celebrate friendship, so it is usually enough to send some postcards with good wishes to friends. Not a must, though!
