Flimsy: (Being a bit evasive (secretive) and showing it from the back and only half - laying on the ironing board folded in half.)
Batting progress:
Using big hand stitches to just but the ends together. I don't want any bulk there.
Backing started: Center panel of the backing. It will have red sides added to make it fit the front.
Back to work!
Linking up to the H2H progress link up at Confessions of a Fabric Addict. Come on by and see who is there.
Hugs,
Terri
I see lots of fun, bright colors...and critters! I think those are cats, peeking through from the backside of the flimsy? Looks like this will be a cheerful quilt, sure to brighten the day of someone who needs a quilty hug :)
ReplyDeleteYes, so cheerful and colorful. Very pretty quilt top :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! Looking forward to seeing the final results!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a fun quilt. Which group are you making it for or haven't you decided yet? I think you are making great progress!
ReplyDeleteSomeone is going to love this one, Terri. Love the colorful backing. I piece my batting, too. Only I use the large zig zag stitch setting on my sewing machine. I'm lazy.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that backing fabric! Fun and colorful!
