I usually like to make the subject of the paper pieced pattern a richer color than the background. You can hardly see his antennae. Maybe I should make this block again... I wanted the slug to be yellow like the Banana Slug encountered by my kids when they were at Bible Camp in the 80s in the Santa Cruz mountains in CA.
The pattern is at Fandom In Stitches or at Eat Slugs in case you want to make one. LOL
Have a great weekend.

So it's new. That explains why I couldn't find it under the Harry Potter patterns. They tend to be slow to add them to the pages. Only 2 of the 3 I pattern tested have been added to the Peter Pan section (Katie Nana is missing).
ReplyDeleteI stared and stared at the pieces but couldn't think what it would be. And now it is quite obviously a slug. Congratulations to the winner!
ReplyDeleteOh what a fun block! You really are the mistress of paper piecing! I've never seen a banana slug. The rarest one I have seen was a leopard slug. I don't think I appreciated it properly. Giggle.
ReplyDeleteIs he a "ghost" slug ?(I guessed ghost ya know );))) huh, huh, huh??? hahaha--
