The giveaway is now closed. Thanks for all your great tips and comments. A winner will be announced Sunday afternoon.
It was her idea!
Tomorrow on the 4th of July, we are trying something new, and we will need help!!!!!!!!!!!! So stop back and see what you can do to help us with Free Motion Quilting.
For today, I am offering a giveaway of Fourteen Fabulous Fat Quarters cut from some of the shopping I did at Fabric Depot in Portland Oregon. Most are batiks, I like batiks. You can see the fabrics on this previous post. (I'm quite new to this, so bear with me...) To enter the drawing, go to Shay's blog and leave a sweet comment... Her link is Quilting in My Pyjamas.
For a second chance to win please sign up to follow my blog and leave a comment saying you are a follower. I have some lovely followers already. (Even though you are entered, please leave a comment.)
Come back on the 4th and comment on the FMQ... especially if you have a neato tip... and you'll have a third chance to win! I'll announce the winner sometime after the 4th. I don't know how long it will take to figure out the winner. (Like I said, I'm new to this.)
Exciting, right?
See you tomorrow.
Hugs,
Terri
It is exciting! I can't wait to see the results!
ReplyDeleteJust popped over to Shay's - I too confess to Free Motion Sickness. I wish you both lots of luck. Can I be classed as a follower/stalker as a regular as I am so un-teckie that I don't know how to d a proper "follow" with my new blog? I haven't even got my stalk list to properly update so I go through everyone each day. I know- I'm a luddite!
ReplyDeleteI have been a follower for a long time and read every post. This will be fun. I often quilt my quilts with with a large loose meander. I need all the Free Motion Quilting tips I can get : )
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you and Shay will be able to conquer FMQ. My advice to you both is to go slow and take breaks. The first few projects are the most difficult. I'm a follower of both blogs.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the FMQ. I have been doing it for a long time and it really can be lots of fun. Just relax and eat plenty of chocolate!!
ReplyDeleteAnd sorry to sound dumb, but I can't find anything to use to follow you.
Sorry Mary - but the "follow me" button is at the top of the page - with all my followers - just under the banner. I'm not much of a techie, so I don't have all the little symbols for facebook, twitter, or any of that other social media. I'd rather spend my time quilting.
DeleteWe can do this Terri! It's D - Day here and Im filling up on coffee before I head off to my sewing room. It's wither going to be a long day or the day we both crack this thing!

ReplyDeleteBernie
I'm a new follower!!
ReplyDeleteI can't find where to follow you either; nothing shows up on my computer under the banner. I wish I could; I like your blog. :) I found you from Shay's blog. Good luck with the FMQ! sarah@forrussia.org
ReplyDeleteFM scares me. I took 3 different classes on it, several years ago. I am starting to do some straight line quilting with a machine, so, maybe, one day I'll try FM again. Sorry I missed the giveaway. 'Life' has happened this weekend, very unexpectedly, and I've not been on the computer because of it. Not a fun ending to the holiday weekend.
