Here's what it looks like:
I hope you like it, dear friend. I'm happy with the way it turned out. Think I'll make a few more... maybe some crazy colored ones, when I have my quilting done.
Remember you can find this pattern and other free patterns at Sewhooked and at Fandom in Stitches. Two of my favorite places to get paper piecing patterns.

Very pretty work Terri. I particularly like the background fabric being a batik fan. I'm sure your friend will be very touched with your gift. I think thi is something we should do more- telling people who are special in our lives that we appreciate them, whether it be our partners, family friends, or even a stranger-actor, whose gift has touched us in a film. Just an "I appreciate you" note or little something can brighten their day.
ReplyDeleteThe thought just occured to me that if FM doesnt pan out for you at least you have mad paper piecing skills to brag about.
ReplyDeleteI love love love it!!! Thank you so much, sweet friend - and a huge whoop whoop, too!!
ReplyDeleteCute! I still need to make one.
ReplyDeleteGreat block - love the background fabric you used. Looks like it's at some tropical place. Thanks for linking to Hexie Weekend or else I would have missed this.
