Brown: Just NOT My Cuppa

I spent 2 days (maybe 8 hours total on this orange butterfly 9.5" square) and it was a much happier experience than the brown leaf.  I spent 1 hour on the leaf. I like the pattern (3" square). I've made it many times.

I'm trying to catch up to 5 strips of geese in the neutral color way.  I guess that's why I'm making (screaming) orange butterflies.

We are having fall here - thus the leaf. I'm going to do some more of those in prettier colors. It got down into the 30s last night, so it might become winter soon.

Hugs,
Terri

  2. But the browns DO really "pop" those beautiful butterflies.

  3. Love your title. That's a lot of work for a butterfly! Do you think that now you've made it that it would faster next time? The orange is beautiful.
